Welcome to FAMU's Office of Technology Transfer, Licensing and
Commercialization (TTLC). TTLC is a resource that assists university
employees and students with finding answers to questions about
university technologies and intellectual property. Our office provides a wealth of specialized services for each academic unit and research center.
Our services are two-fold: Technology Transfer and Licensing and
Technology Commercialization. From these sub-units, assistance is provided to help FAMU employees and students capitalize on their intellectual pursuits. These services include securing patents, finding licensing partners,
marketing innovations, and incubating new technologies into viable companies
(both technical and non-technical). Staff members are well trained and look
forward to transforming ideas into commercial realities.
